VENTAHOOD 48" Wall Mounted Euro Style Range Hood - SEPTH18348

This Euroline Pro with Emerald lip is boldly designed to cover light residential, "commercial type" cooking equipment. To order a 27" depth, add an 'X' after 'EP' in the model number. The Euroline Pro Series with Emerald Lip is also available with a 26" wide x 14" deep top to allow for higher CFM requirements . Heat lamps are not available on this model. Click on the models for a list of our base model numbers for standard sizes; simply select the model you need, and then specify the finish [painted or stainless steel.] Not available in real brass, real copper, or hammered copper. Recommended mounting height is 30" from the cooking surface. Shown with matching wall mount duct cover [sold separately], available in standard sizes for 8', 9', and 10' ceiling heights or in custom sizes. All Vent-A-Hood products are suitable for use in damp locations [outdoor applications such as a covered patio] when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit.

What our Experts Think
  • Strong 900 CFM Performance: Designed with Vent‑A‑Hood’s proven Magic Lung centrifugal blower system, the SEPTH18348 delivers 900 CFM airflow with effective suction up to ~1350 CFM — excellent for heavy residential and light commercial‑style cooking.

  • Quiet Yet Powerful: Runs around 6.3 sones, balancing airflow and noise so it doesn’t overwhelm the kitchen while still capturing steam and grease effectively.

  • Premium Euro Style: The 48″ wall‑mount Euroline Pro design with a squared/emerald lip offers a modern, professional aesthetic that enhances contemporary kitchens.

  • Pro‑Recommended Placement: Experts suggest mounting ~30″ above the cooktop to maximize capture efficiency and minimize recirculation.

  • Ease of Cleaning & Safety: Patented filterless design simplifies cleaning compared to mesh/baffle filters, and the blower’s centrifugal airflow helps prevent fire from entering ductwork.

  • Bright Illumination: Integrated multi‑light setup improves cooktop visibility — a small but meaningful upgrade for cooking tasks.

Maintenance Tips
  • Clean Surfaces Weekly: Wipe exterior stainless steel with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth; dry thoroughly to prevent water spots and maintain finish.

  • Internal Cleanout: Although Euro‑Style models like SEPTH18348 are designed for easier cleaning, regularly wipe grease collection areas and walls to avoid buildup.

  • Duct & Blower Care: Ensure ductwork and blower housing remain free of obstructions and grease buildup to maintain the 900 CFM airflow performance.

  • Power Off Safely: Always turn off electrical power before cleaning interior components or replacing lights to avoid shocks.

  • Light Maintenance: Replace bulbs with correct type per manufacturer guidelines; ensure the unit has cooled first.

  • No Abrasives: Avoid abrasive cleaners, scrubbing pads, and steel wool to protect the finish and metal surfaces.
